C'mon Boston and Tampa! I think we've earned some breaks at this point.

- Caps lose to Boston in regulation
- Lightning beat Devils in regulation

Flyers visit the Leafs... bring on the waffles! I have a feeling the Leafs win tonight. 10 losses in a row at home just can't continue...

If Boston loses to Washington in regulation, they are still 2 points back and we hold a game in hand. But Boston would then be only 4 ahead of Florida, who would have a game in hand. Florida's schedule includes games against Wild, Blue Jackets, Jets and Hurricanes (plus Redwings and Capitals, who may be out of it by then if Sabres/Sens keep winning). Boston would have games remaining with Rangers, Penguins, Sens and Sabres (plus Islanders, who are relishing the spoiler role).

I dunno, maybe better if Panthers passed the Bruins. Go Caps?

Someone needs to explain to me why this was done in the last 2 years already.
Heh. Talk about one of the most frustrating teams to be a fan of year in and year out. They need to blow it up.

Or put a flame thrower to it Smile

If Jay Feaster was the man he was five years ago, he'd take a flame thrower to this place!

Islanders up 1-0 on the Pens through one.

Philly up 2-1 on the Leafs, 5 to go in the first.

Caps hanging on. 0-0 after 20. Washington has *2* shots on goal, Bruins only 7 (and that's *with* a 5 minute major powerplay).

Lighting just scored in the last minute of the 1st to take a 1-0 lead on the Devils.

Boston ties it up -- two goals in about 2 minutes.

Well, might as well be a Boston victory, then. One loser point to the Caps is better than 2 for a win.

I'm not sure I can prove it, but I think it's all Big Ev's fault.

However, Brodeur giving up 4 goals on 16 shots? Fleury giving up 4 on 23? Those aren't the numbers you want to see heading toward the playoffs.

Seidenberg now out with a leg laceration that's become infected. Probably not a big deal and he could play as early as Saturday.
