We're in such amazingly good shape if that happens...still will temper any excitement until he shows it for a slightly longer stretch, but damn, pretty exciting stuff.

Now...we need to draft a D-man this draft please (or buy one).

Here's the thing with Turris: he's young, he finally feels like he's being given a fair shake, and he's playing for big bucks on his next contract (who wouldn't be). He also has found his stride nicely (always tough to miss training camp and come in "cold" more or less).

So all things considered, he should be, and is, playing his Donkey off. The real test, I think, will be once he lands his big contract. Then we'll see what he's made of.

If he sucks after demanding big bucks we can cleverly call him Turri$.

The only thing nicer would have been doing some of the injuring. Beer

Well they tried to injure us no ? Last night they said Orpik made a run at Spezza from the blueline and it wouldn't surprised if that's why Karlsson was a last second scratch.

Letang took out Spezza last year, I don't think Pittsburgh has a problem taking runs at us, we've got some history from the postseason with them.

Orpik should have been made to eat his teeth last night. Was surprised someone didn't punch him in the mouth.

Gonchar tried his best on Malkin. That was hilarious, especially since there was no penalty on the play.

What I wanna know is what is the goalie thinking on that play? Does he think there's a hole on the side or back of the net that Spezza might tuck the puck through? I mean why slide behind the net with him? It confuses me every time I see a goalie do that.

The puck carrier kind of hypnotizes the goalie into following him and he gets disoriented somewhat and forgets where he is in relation to the net.

Spezza's cute giggle is like a mating call for goalies...irresistible.

Anyone else scared at the time that Spezza had hurt his leg.

I e-mailed TGOR about it. If they can find that clip they should add it to their show-ending montage (just before "Surely, this must be it!")

Johnson clearly lost his post -- he didn't know where he was.
