It was, early on. When Lee got that penalty I thought it would be automatic, but then I said "Wait, they do fine on the PK without Karlsson" and, sure enough, they were fine. Much better short-handed than they were even strength. Then when the PK was over they started struggling, again.

Thank goodness they have an AHLer playing the right D. Completely ignored Neil, who had the puck. And then the Foligno rush, again, same guy.

Nick's got two assists. Karlsson, look out.

Not all, but it's true that he only had to make one difficult save.

Penguins should have 20 shots with the time of possession they must have had. I wonder how both teams regroup. I'd be Lovejoy and Engell won't see too much ice time together in the 2nd.

Anderson looks brutal on every wrap-around attempt. It's like he's so scared of cheating against the post that he hesitates to react.

Boxscore shows 9 shots for the Sens. They had 7 after 1, so that means 2 shots, 2 goals in the 2nd?

Yeah not surprised. But this game had the makings of a shutout for andy, the pens weren't getting many sniffs till that malkin goal. Now it's all pens. Not good

Still only 9 shots. They've played nearly 18 minutes of this period and have only had 2 shots on goal, scoring 2 in the process.
