Depends on which side Suter plays too.

Suter is a leftie.

I dont know why we'd trade Kuba (a UFA) for another UFA (Suter).

I think Suter WILL test the market as he'll have money galore thrown at him. Even if you trade for him I wouldn't feel confident about resigning him at all.

I think he got his 'sources' mixed up on that one. Kuba won't be dealt, what a dumb move that would be for the Sens.

Whoever said Bryan Allen a while ago may have been onto something. Murray loves dealing with Rutherford, we need a 3rd pairing, UFA to be - and maybe we can snag Ruutu as well...

I think it could happen. Allen's a decent (but not great), unassuming 3rd pairing guy who can hit decently (averaging over a hit a game), but is quite an adept shot blocker IIRC.

Could happen - and probably only take a 3rd round pick.

I certainly wouldn't get into a bidding war for Allen though. In fact, I have reservations about him being any better than Borowiecki could be.

Lucky we know the GM well. 3rd rounder is all I'd offer. Allen...is okay, nothing more.
