You hope anyways. Some pretty big ego's collecting cheques there, don't think they give a damn one way or another but you are right, Martin has been with the Dodgers, Yankees, and Pirates, all those teams made it to the post season with him behind the plate I believe.

I'm not entirely sure this guy is even half as good as Ernie Whitt was but I suspect "probably not."

The Jays are going to be players in something else here. Will be interesting to see what happens.

Meanwhile the Sox are taking a run at Pablo Sandaval.

Pretty solid signing. I was stunned at the amount of $$, but as long as it doesn't hurt us signing other guys, then I'm all for it. He knows exactly how to handle a young staff and that's a massive plus for Toronto going into next year.

What, really? Boston or Toronto, but not back to the place where he won 3 championships in 9 years - a 33% championship rate? Okay then, I'd love to have him. If Boston is wooing him, I hope Toronto is doing everything they can.

he played in 106 games for the Jays because they had no depth.

Yeah, our depth was balls last year. We had a ton of injuries though.

You guys can have Will Middlebrooks. He rakes at Rogers Centre

Hitting coaches can solve a lot of problems in baseball... food for thought.
