Dominating performance. Too bad the hockey gods hate us (meaning we should have got it in regulation). 2 points is 2 points!

and was it just me or was Zibanejad pretty sick tonight?

Zibanejad was better but he still defers to his linemates far too much.

Karlsson quietly had an excellent game. A couple give-aways but played 28+ minutes, was +1, had 1 assist, and made a number of exceptionally savvy defensive plays. Really don't remember him getting beaten at all on defence.

Michalek continues to be awesome this year. Spezza was weak again. Da Costa started the game very strongly. Neil obviously had one of his best games in the past several years.

Yeah Neil was inspired tonight. I don't think he likes Heatley too much.

Zibanejad was all over the rink tonight. Set up Sepzza with a SWEET pass in front, but Spezza fumbles it as usual.

Also Rundblad got better and better as the game went along. That was a sweet pass to Michalek in OT - too bad it didn't quite work.

Lee will need Gonchar to be scratched because Rundblad ain't going nowhere, methinks

Fun game to go to...

I thought the D core as a whole got better as the game went along, but in particular, Rundblad really got better from his first shift to his last. He made a poor read on the first goal and rimmed it around the boards to the Wild D-man, but then got steadier as it went along.

Liked Da Costa's game a lot until he appeared to get scratched in the late third - or something.

Loved the Regin, Foligno and Neil line, great stuff.

I'm more convinced now than I ever was: Colin Greening is gonna make some noise for us.

He was buzzing, but he can't puck handle - at all. At least not well enough to be in the NHL - that's my take from watching the three games. He can hit guys, he can crash the net, but he can't make plays going into the zone and he refuses to carry the puck for any length of time. Is it enough to keep him out of the NHL this year - we'll see.

He was better at puck-handling tonight, I think.

A win's a win, and a loser point given away to a Western team just serves to piss another Western team off.

The Sens continue to be snake-bitten around the net, it seems. There were more "OMG how did that not go in" moments tonight. But one thing this team knows is that it can mount a come back -- you can't teach that.

Regin, pretty nice first game back. I hope he stays away from the nasty mean men that try to hurt him, because when he's healthy he can make a difference.

I suspect MacLean will put Filatov back in, let Konopka sit out. That was a stupid, stupid thing he did, taking the instigator. Are the Sens leading the league in instigating minors yet?

What's with Spezza taking the draw from one knee? Seemed to work, but who taught him that? Konopka?

There's an argument to it just being an 18 year old being 18, but there were situations where he seemed to just want to unload the puck - either into the corner, or a weak shot on goal.

There were a couple of those OMG moments - from both sides lol
