EA Sports NHL 2012

^ Awesome, so excited.

Just watched the Be a Legend video, and on it, you can see the Karlsson card from HUT. His rating in it is an 83, with a potential of 91. I can also make out his stats to be 87 Skating, 80 Shooting, 86 Hands, 74 Checking, and 82 Defence. One would think his player attributes would reflect these.

I like that they've come back with potential in numbers instead of letters. Or both would be good.

The # for potential is only for HUT, BaGM uses Letter grades still.

Nope, I am just assuming based on last years game. That's the way it's been for a while. Also, HUT ratings were different from the rest of the game. I won't be getting the game early anymore since I no longer live in Brampton, and don't want to drive 4 1/2 hrs to get a game.

4.5 hours each way + gas for a week early. Yeah that's a head scratcher. I wonder if I were to grease the palm of the guy at EB if he'd give me a copy early.

If your store is anything like the store we have here, the EB Games guy probably greases his palm quite a bit himself, already. Maybe a Large Slurpee would work better.

Mel plays only BAGM, so she said she doesn't really care.

Aw I think it is cool. It's obviously going to be abused by the immature players online.

You guys should try EASHL. Do you have two consoles with two live accounts?

We have 2 consoles, but we don't go online believe it or not. We like to GM teams with the trading and signing and stuff. I play...probably 50 of the games a year and sim the rest, she'll sim them all.

When the prices of consoles came down we just got a 2nd one so we wouldn't have to fight over it. I've thought about online play, or even updating rosters and stuff, but I'm pretty content GMing.

Well if either of you ever decide to give EASHL (essentially online be a pro) a go, let me know. I play with some friends and we'd have you out for a few games.

There is an extended demo at some store in Toronto, and somebody jotted down a few of the notable players overalls from around the league. He noted all the Leafs overalls as well as potential, and a couple of key players from other teams:

Alfie is the lone Sens representative, with an overall of 84. To put things into perspective, Matt Lombardi is an 83.

Well the early release is out in Europe already and a select few have the full game, so info is being slowly released.

FYI Spezza's overall is 88.

Really surprised to see Shannon on the team as he has outright signed with another team. Will have to change some of Greening and Condra's stats, as I'm sure they don't have Greening's speed, or Condra's D ability.
