back in the day, cbc had a little more pull. I remember back in 2003 when the sens were set to meet the devils in the opener on saturday. They initially had it as an afternoon game to broadcast on ABC. and then a few days later changed it to its 7 pm slot on cbc. gone r the good 'ol days

Because Rogers, in their infinite wisdom -- and by "wisdom" I mean "utter stupiditily" -- yes, so stupid that you have to misspell it -- has decided that in order to get TSN-HD you have to spend another $9.95/month (plus taxes and LPIF) on top of what you are already paying.

Game 1: Lightning @ Bruins - 8:00pm ET - Series tied 0-0 [CBC has the game]

Both teams have had a bit of a rest... Big Z should be back to normal by now.

Bolts take game one 5-2... they had the jump for sure... Boston looked unprepared. Should be an interesting game 2.

What a massive disappointment he's been. Down goes his value in the UFA market. He'll still get an inflated contract, but my guess is that he's losing a ton of money by playing the way he has been.

Not sure what Wellwood meant when he said (or implied) that they haven't lost enough. Umm, they've lost plenty. How many years was he there? How many times did they get to the conference finals?

i know it might be very un-canadian but i can't cheer for any of the teams in the west. to many top players not enough underdogs. guess i'm cheering for boston?
