I am not a fan of the new Wendy's hamburgers. More juicy? More like more greasy. They suck now. Go back to the way it was. Whopper with cheese please. Wink

I pretty much like, to varying degrees, all fast food joint burgers. Wendy's, Harveys and DQ are slightly ahead of BK for me and way ahead of McDonald's.

Wendy's has fallen off now for me with their "new" burgers. Harvey's is tops, agreed. Have not had a DQ or A&W burger is forever...

D'oh. How could I forget A&W BagoverHead Thing about Harvey's is when I get a hankering for Harvey's I will go out of my way to get it. Can't really say that about any of the others.

It's funny, I much prefer Harvey's/DQs onion rings to Burger Kings or A&Ws. Two distinct types of rings.

As for Harvey's burgers, I find them…weird. Their meat has a different consistency to it than other joints. I can't figure out what it is, but it puts me off a little. That said, their burgers are still tasty, and anytime I can get hot peppers on a burger, well smack my Donkey and call me Susie, that's a good day.

I was going to try to rank my fast-food joints, but I can't. All have strengths and weaknesses.

I get the same way about a BK whopper. When I gotta have one I gotta have one.

Wendy's made their Dung so small now. The Spicy Chicken was so awesome, now you eat it in like 3 bites...

I remember my younger years when me and my buddies would frequent the Bell's Corners Burger King and get $0.99 Junior Whoppers.

Those were the days. Burger Kings are few and far between these days.

If we're talking raw burger patties, you gotta check out The Butchery in Bell's Corners. It has a Vera's Burgers place inside of it...you can order food right there to eat (the burgers are phenomenal, 2nd only to maybe Five Guys), but you can also buy their raw patties...a little over $1 each, and 2 of these bad boys will stuff your belly to capacity. Really, really fantastic.

It's just a clean, awesome Butchery. Nothing to do with the Glebe (blech) thankfully.

http://www.thebutchery.ca/

It is family-run and was opened in the 80s...I haven't had a bad experience there, and I've been going there for over 20 years.
