Like the Februany promo wasn't enough of a slap in the face to we proud Canucks!!!
I have not even tried any of the flatbreads yet... any good?

I like it. It's pretty heavy, though. I don't see how it's healthier than regular bread.
Heavy? Ahhhhh! Ahhhhh!

You mean: "HEAVY?!???!??! Ahhhhh! Ahhhhh! "

There can be only one sub. The pizza sub.

The BBQ Rib has always been my comfort "go to" sub... hell yeah.

I like a lot of different subs. Chicken Pizziola is nice.

So I clicked on this topic by mistake Razz
Just wanted to say that if you're looking for Asian Food, I just went to Siam Bistro on Wellington/Parkdale a few days ago, and I think it's the best food I've ever eaten in Ottawa. For basically $10-$13.

The "Sweet and Hot Chicken" at HO HO's Chinese Food Restaurant is amazing. That place looked like a dump when I lived there, but the food was damn good.

I was once eating a thick sub, and my jaw just locked up. I walked around for 2 days with my mouth wide open. All kinds of bugs flew into my mouth and must have laid eggs. Maggots started eating out my innards and then I died. True story. Yeah, I'd say flat bread is definitely healthier.

Siam Kitchen on Bank Street near Colonel By drive is quite good as well.

If you want really good sushi and are willing to pay handsomely for it then I highly recommend "Taste of Japan" on Richmond Road.

As for all you can eat places they're not bad but I haven't hit one yet that can successfully give you exactly what you ordered and I've been to many across the city. The other thing is you won't get the variety you do at a la carte places.

Is Taste of Japan that place in Bell's Corners? I think that's technically Robertson Road. Or maybe the place I'm thinking of is that awesome Rub n Tug I used to frequent....same name.

Yes. The one in Bell's Corners. It is technically listed as 3710 Richmond Rd.

Yep...my bad...that IS Richmond Road. Richmond Road doesn't turn in to Robertson Road until it intersects with...Richmond Road. WTF. I grew up in Bell's Corners, and that still confuses me.
