Karlsson would really appeal to the Lesbian market, I guess

Fisher, you will be missed. Class act through and through and a fan favourite for many. Thanks for the memories and the years of hard work and dedicated service. Good luck in Nashville.

Class act all the way, wish you all the best in Nashville Mike, this was a move that was inevitable, but we as fans wanted to see a rebuild, and unfortunately that involves core guys like Mike are moved out, we will see some more moves like this, but none will surely bother us as this one does. Will be cheering for you Mike in the playoffs.

Phillips for sure will be gone if he waives that is of course, there is probably a shot too that Neil and Kelly could be gone too, I hope not, but I didn't really expect Fish to be gone now either.

and now the question is, who do we get to replace Fisher on the banner at SBP? If Karlsson is not up there, then I think he should be the likely candidate, he will be here for a long, long time.

Hmm, my son got a pic of Fisher I believe from that other nights game in Calgary. I'll post it here if he still has it since it's from Fisher's last game as a Senator.

I appreciate the 1st round pick we got for you... thanks for the low productivity, it won't be missed.

Meh there were some good times. Fisher was a beast in the 07 playoffs, but yeah, the last two years, he's been overpaid for sure.

This is the right move, despite what the fairweather average Ottawa hockey fan thinks.

those fans drive me bonkers... same ones that call for a PMD, and celebrate getting Gonchar, are critizing Murray for signing him.. many people just assume that every market has a fair and equal chance to attain players. Murray had to give Kovalev and Gonchar extra years to get them here.. that's just the way it is.. I think Murray has done a great job, the players aren't playing up to their abilities, that's a coaching problem. I hope we keep Murray. I really might be sick if Pierre McGuire steps in as GM..

I don't care if you have to give Kovalev an extra year to sign him, he shouldn't have even been signed for 1 year. Everyone knew that signing would blow up in Murray's face.

Murray for advisory role, please and thank you.

I disagree, he's done much more good than bad.. Pierre McGuire would ruin this team.

The fact is, you have absolutely no clue if he would ruin this team, nobody does. Murray has already ruined this team in the 4 years he's been GM, so the new GM couldn't be any worse.

Second, I didn't even mention Pierre, and I wouldn't want him as a GM of the Sens anymore.

Like really, we're sitting in last place almost and people think Murray should still be GM? What?

Anyway, sorry to interuppt the thread here. I don't have any appreciation for Fisher Sarcasm Except his wife is hot.

People who think BM ruined this team are challenged misremembering. BM was handed a ticking time bomb -- he knew it, & everybody knew it. That's why he's been working so hard to re-stock our prospect cupboards since day one.

Blame Muckler for our current situation.
