Whoever is on Team 1200 now just equated Clutterbuck to Cooke.

WTF?

Clutterbuck, to me, is not a Matt Cooke.

Especially with 18 goals, 13 assists.

Am I missing something?

Well, if the player waived had another year on his deal, for instance, you'd get to take full advantage of that.

What about the player? He just doesn't get to play until September? That's hardly fair.

So Gillies get's 10 games and Clutterbuck get's nothing for his hit 5 seconds earlier? That's a joke.

When you put it that way, I'm surprised the NHLPA is OK with this rule. I guess the #1 concern with them, however, is 'are our guys still getting paid?' Laugh1

Holy Dung. Apparently the sun rises and sets with Kovalchuk in New Jersey. He has 6 GWG in the last 12 games.

I posted in one of the threads that I'd be REAL worried if I was a top seed and New Jersey made it in as 8th seed.

Looks like Chicago is climbing. I would love them to get 8th place it would make an epic 1st round.

Tolensky speaks the truth...

"Islanders won just 5 of first 28 games. Since then they've gone 20-14-4 including recent 8-3-2 streak. To me that's more shocking than NJ."

I can't believe how good the Blackhawks first line is, with Keith back there. THey're just raping the poor Leafs General Hockey Talk - Injuries, signings, factoids + other news from around the league - Page 56 270956

Streit, Okposo and consistant goaltending could have changed things.

With Crawford playing so well The Hawks might be rolling at the right time, that's the team I don't want to play if I am anyone in The West.

Nashville is looking more and more like they are going to be missing out on the playoffs.
