If EJ explodes as expected (big if at this point) St-Louis will look ridiculous. I expect him to improve enough to make the Blues look silly regardless of the return (and no EJ and Shatty aren't close at this point in time).

Stewart and Shattenkirk as the return is basically 'as good as it gets'. If EJ wins a Norris, then the Blues will look silly, but at least they'll have a 30 or even 40 goal guy + a 35 point D-man as the return, right?

They traded Stewart, pretty evident they wand Landeskog now.

COL - Landeskog
EDM - Larsson
OTtawa - RNH TwoThumbsUp!

March Madness For RNH
http://thepipelineshow.blogspot.com/2011/03/march-madness-for-rnh.html#more

"2 NHL GM's, who have a very good chance of ending up in the NHL draft lottery have said they would take the Red Deer Rebel first overall."This I have from a very good and credible scouting source. Another high placed scout thought if RHN reached the 30 goal mark it would be enough to convince whoever has the first overall pick to take him.
Edmonton, get the Diddle off
Dammit!

Ottawa drafts Landeskog, I don't think there is a whole lot of doubt about it to be honest.

We'll see I guess, obviously the best outcome would be finishing ahead of Colorado in the standings because if they win the lotto, they pick Larsson for sure and RNH would be brought in to center Hall and Eberle going forward. Leaves Ottawa with LAndeskog.

If the draft goes Edm/Col/Ottawa and Edm takes Larsson, I could see Col going with LAndeskog because they need some help on the wing to be sure, leaves Ottawa with RNH or Strome... oh well!

Im pretty sure that's debatalble. We have 0 center prospects, Pierre DOrion and Tim Murray will take SKills and vision over everything (Karlsson over COlborne ,Rundblad over the average big forwards last year and they had Jaden Shwartz high ont heir lit), an Zibanejad from what I've heard is a poor man's Landeskog that can bring some of hte things we need.
TO be honest, I don't see where we're gonna get a 1st line center in the next 5 years. whereas Landeskog you can find one in the middle of the rounds (RIchards/Giroux/Perry...). I mean seriously:

- Crosby
- Malkin
- Stamkos
- Tavares
- H Sedin
- Spezza
- Thornton
- Toews

The most skilled centers and usually the leading scorers, and most of them are MVPs on their team. Not saying all, but most are drafted top 5.
I love Landeskog as anyone else here, but I wouldn't build my offense around him in arguably the only opportunity we'll have in the next 5 years to draft a 1st line center. I think this Landeskog thing just magnified by him being Swedish, the media, the team he plays in and all the intangibles.

Or perhaps it's because the Sens and Dorion want someone who will play on the team next season. It's highly debatable whether RNH can make the jump as early as next season. I also wouldn't put RNH in such lofty company personally.

That's a fair point but perhaps they want to turn Landeskog into that 2nd line center? Perhaps they see more in him in terms of the position he WILL play and opposed to the postion he is playing. Just like it's tough to find Toews or a Tavares, it's just as tough to find a Richards.
