What are the chances we package the Nashville pick with our 2nd round pick to move into the top 10 and try to grab one of the big forwards or Cs that are left around there? Pretty high I would imagine.

Put yourself in the other team's shoes... if Murray had a to 10 pick... and he traded it... what return would make you happy?

And where do you see that Nashville pick?

Nashville will be picking either 12-14 or 17-20.

That's why I asked, getting in the top 10 from 12-14 vs 17-20 would take a very different cost.

I agree that Florida is a bigger threat than NYI. Colorado may be a threat to our pursuit of a higher draft pick also.

Colorado is taking the tank to a whole new level. Hopefully we have built up enough of a gap to stay at the bottom.

That Tavares goal was a beauty of a play. Hopefully they fill more seats thanks to that play lol. He's awesome.

Probably if I had a list of guys in the 14-17 area I wanted pretty bad + more than 1 guy in the low 30s, I'd probably be willing to move the pick. Hard to say I guess.

They play Edmonton 3 more times. They will get at least one or two wins there and they are not bad enough to go through the rest of the season without a win beyond that. 4 or 5 wins is certainly possible, so that's basically The Sens playing better than 500 hockey down the stretch with 3 games against TB, 2 against NJ, 3 agains teams fighting for their lives, PITT, WAS, PHI, and MTL thrown in there. Florida is the only team that has a shot at finishing below Ottawa right now aside from Edmonton.

Col has an NHL lineup front to back. They will win their fair share of games. Probably something like 6-12 or 7-11, which is awful but not bad enough for The Sens to pass them and that's with The Sens playing above 500 hockey, which I bet a large amount won't happen.

He's proving the haters wrong. He was the #1 pick for a reason (i.e. better than Duchene).
