It's true. Why did the Islanders claim him? Do they think they can make the playoffs? No? So then they are taking his chance at that away because they don't have other options?

I'm sure Ottawa can help them out with that and trade them Leclaire.

Yeah, I'm wondering the same thing. Someone else will take him though, SJ, Washington, Philly, there's a ton of teams that would take him without question - contenders that is.
