I have no trouble staying away from spoilers, but I believe they just started filming season 2 and if I can barely wait for that I don't see myself waiting for the blurays.
I am seriously tempted to buy the books. I like reading, but I also like to see faces and appreciate all the work that is done to put something on a screen.

Yeah, it was pretty nuts. I think the end to this season (I think there's three more episodes) will have lots more crazy events. It'll likely be a longish wait for season 2 as well....might be a good time to read the books.

I am watching Netflix. It's like watching TV on the so-called "internet".

Canadian Netflix is like watching TV on the Internet in the early 2000s.

Agreed but I don't usually go out to see many movies or even rent that many so there's a LOT there I haven't seen.

For example, I watched Harry Brown last night, which I've been meaning to rent but haven't. Sort of recent but wouldn't be considered a "New Release" now.

I noticed too that there are a lot of feature-length documentaries which I wouldn't rent but I would certainly watch given the opportunity which is the case here.

I enjoy it, it's just......

you'll see.

I don't read the books btw, for that or any other series (like True Blood). So every episode is a shock to me. I watched it this morn on the PVR.

*Spoilers*

Yeah, I didn't read the books either. Holy poop that was a fantastic episode...the end really sucks for the Stark family though!

I kinda figured he'd be getting the "axe" at the end of the season. I didn't see the kidnapping of Jaime coming, though, so at least the Starks still have some bargaining power.

It'll be interesting to see what comes of Dany and Drogo and the newborn.

What a fantastic show.

***SPOILERS***

Yeah it was definitely an Epic moment. I kept thinking to myself, this isn't going to happen. It's going to be stupid and the little girl is going to have a Yoda moment from Star Wars Episode 3 when she bounces off walls doing flips and kills everybody.

But then it happened, and I was just in awe.

Really the rest of the episode was amazing too. They have already built up two possible villains for the next set of seasons. The creatures from the north side of the Wall, and Khal Drogo's people.

What a great show!

EDIT: SPOILERS!!! Highlight to read!

Good idea with the spoiler text...here goes.

I think the next season will likely continue with more of the Lannister/Stark feud as well. I think the Starks are far from "out of the game", what with Jaime as a hostage and a sizeable army behind them. The Lannisters are obviously in the driver's seat at the moment, but they just used up their bargaining chip. The Lannisters give me the impression that they'll do anything to save one of their own, so you could see them making some pretty big concessions to get Jaime back, and then going after the Starks later....but maybe from a disadvantaged position.

Anyway, the twists in this show are fantastic, and here's hoping for more great seasons! I am dying to see what the season-ending cliffhanger will be!!!

Again...

I figure the multiple cliffhangers will include, seeing the Khal Baby, and Drogo, walking out of the tent. I'm hoping there will be more to do with Khaleesi and her fire immunity and dragon awesomeness.

I'm also curious to know what the Bastard child will do, if he'll come back or no.

I can't wait for the next episode. And then I won't be able to wait for the NHL Entry Draft. July 1st I'm not that excited for, in terms of NHL. I love Canada Day though.

And then I won't be able to wait for the NHL season to start.

TIL (today i learned) I'm very impatient.

I think my favourite characters are Arya and Jon Snow. I want my own Dire Wolf.

I'm a big fan of Tyrion (the midget) and his buddy...whatever his name is...the guy that fought in his name when Tyrion was still a prisoner.

Oh, and I liked that red-headed hooker, when she was around.

I suck with names, that's why I call Jon Snow the Bastard, and need to nickname most of them. I definitely had to google Arya. Facepalm

But I agree. I also really liked Arya's teacher Syrio Forel. That guy was a badass. Hoping he's still alive.

I love this show. Can't believe we'll have to wait another 10 months after Sunday.

Yeah, it took me quite a while to get the names down. I, too, was a big fan of Arya's teacher,
