Crazy stuff.  Very enjoyable.

I got messages from friends saying that moment didn't last long enough  Laugh1

The things that will follow that event is the real entertainment though. Crazy awesome twists.

Sure, why not?  I'm already paying for Rogers cable and I got them to give it to me for 50% off for 6 months.  I'd rather pay 9 bucks than have to download and Dung.

That's $9/month (plus taxes plus your LPIF goes up). GoT has 10 one-hour episodes per season.

Also it's *not* $9 -- HD VIP is $83.35, and to get HBO you have to get the VIP Ultimate, at $117.54. That's more than $34 extra (you get TNM as well -- had TNM for 6 months once when it was free and I think I watched 3 movies over the 6 months).

What kind of internet package do you have? I don't know if I'd bother with cable when I get my own place

When I went unlimited with Rogers and cranked up Netflix to best quality I went to around a terabyte. What does TekSavvy charge for a terabyte plan?

TekSavvy has a variety of unlimited plans, most under $50.  You can easily look at their website to answer all your questions.

Sure, if by "most" you mean "one". The 6 Mbps unlimited plan is $40.95. Next one is the up-to-25 Mbps and the unlimited one is $59.95. The others are all higher.

Speaking of US Netflix, just found out about this extension called "Hola". Installed it on my Chrome browser, clicked the Hola icon and selected US, logged in to Netflix and, voila, US content.

Hola has extensions/plugins for Firefox as well. Plus there's an Android app. So I installed Hola on my tablet, set it up to view US content in the Netflix app, but when I try to start up Netflix it tells me it cannot reach Netflix service and to try again later.

No idea how Hola works. I think it sets up a VPN. And it can set up a different one for each of your applications. Pretty impressive -- if it works which, so far, it hasn't.

So I can watch US Netflix on my laptop now. Not yet on my tablet (so no Chromecast) or PS3 (I checked -- no Hola for the PS3) or my LG TV. I'll try again later as the message said, but probably not a lot of hope of it working.

So, anyone else using Hola? Anything I should be aware of?

They have DSL plans under $50 for unlimited as well.

I have cable to the house. I also have 4 kids with various internet-connected devices (all of them capable of streaming Netflix at any given time) so if I was going to switch there's no way I'd go for DSL over cable.

Just watched episode 5 I think. Rally picking up now. I'm humming the theme the whole day long now. We're going to see dragons, soon, aren't we? The eggs, now the skulls. They're coming aren't they?

P.S. my daughter can never watch this. Not after what The Mountain did to his poor horse.
