There goes my streak...this was such an important game for Ottawa....this is just sad. Two fuck-ups cost Ottawa this game.

14-17-4, and after all the decent play lately, we're just back to the same 3 games under .500 with less games remaining too. I hate being pessimistic, but it's almost time to kiss the postseason goodbye now.

we're only a 10 game winning streak away from being blasted out in the first round. This team isn't potent enough to "go all the way" and the Euge would say...

The freaking Oilers are better than us and they have a team full of rookies.

ps. they need to threaten LeClaire: you get injured just one more time and we're waiving your frail girly ass....

Yeah thanks for only keeping the sens in the game after being throughly outplayed, yeah thanks for nothing Elliott. Let's ignore gonchar and Phillips who are too veteran to make dumbass plays like they did. Let's ignore our lackluster power play, or the fact that spezza was barely noticeable.

Elliott wouldn't be one of the first guys I'd target for blame tonight, but you can't defend him. A goalie with any amount of skill would have stopped the first couple goals in the second. Oh well, can't say I'm suprised.

Well, that was disappointing, but at least there were some bright spots.

Karlsson played 28:25 today (and was even on the night). The next closest was Alfie at 23:11. Kid also had more PK time than Gonchar or Kuba.

EDIT: But this team needs some Ryan Nugent-Hopkins.

Gonchar reminds me a lot of Alex Picard circa last year. Every time he touches the puck something bad happens.
