Hmmm... interesting extension. Seems he also got a Limited NTC (according to TSN). He's 29, so this will take him to 34. Risky move with his health history, but if he stays healthy and continues to produce, a good signing. That's a big IF though. I like Lupul and what the brings. Will be interesting to see how this all plays out over the next 5 years.

It's $5.25M per. Not a huge difference but one good year gets you five guaranteed? I don't like that term. Frankly, I think the salary is too much as well, but that's just me. Yes, if I was an owner I'd be running a floor team. Floor hockey!
