If I get around to it I will, but what happens is you go to the FA screen and sort using the LB/RB and go to RFA, then you make your offer as usual. Advance to the next day/days they will accept/decline your offer. The offer you make is usually good anyways, as long as you give them at least what they want $$$ wise. Then they tell you they are happy to accept but that it is not official yet as their team has the right to match.

I did this with Brent Seabrook. His asking price was ~$4.5 and I upped it to $5. Chicago couldn't/didn't match and he was an Oiler. Compensation was a 1st and 3rd.

Edit: I just did this to show you what happens.

Dash is it true when you sim BAGM, the star players like Crosby etc.. get sent down to the ahl ? i've been reading it over the EA boards but i dont know?

I don't know, I don't think that happened with me and the Oilers team, since simming made the playoffs. Crosby wouldn't be able to get sent down anyways, he is on a 1-way deal and someone would surely have claimed him.

Yeah I think so. I am basing that on having played at the "Powerade Centre" with the Battalion and it looks nothing like their arena. They look like generic arenas.
