Well, Dash took him, so it's a moot point in that respect.

However, 2 games in is still early IMO. He played with Alzner. Pretty much two rookies. You think that will continue?

Tough to say. He won't be playing with Green, probably ever -- they are both right-handed players. But Carlson can play both ends of the ice, putting up points and playing smart in his own end, even killing penalties. To that end, I wouldn't be shocked to see Carlson playing next to someone like Poti and getting top-4 time before long.

At least you can use that as an excuse. Dirty Dave has no injuries. But he *does* have 3 of his players inactive (on reserve). Those players combined for 13 points, which would put him in 8th, one point ahead of Big Rig (and one behind yours truly).

to make matters worse, rafalski is injured for the next 4 weeks, another player of mine.

how do i put guys on injured reserved, i never get the option but big ev uses it all the time. if i put mine on reserve i can't claim anyone.

I don't think you can place someone on IR and then increase your roster to 16. So if you want to always count 15 players, you would have to drop the injured one and draft a new (unpicked) one. Thing is, you won't get the points the player accumulated before you picked him -- only the points after he is on your team.

You can only put a guy on IR only if he is on the NHL IR. Once you put somebody on IR you get an empty roster spot and you get to add a new guy. Or you can just add injured people off waivers and not drop any of your current players.

So you have 15 players, 1 gets injured. Put him on IR then you have 14 players. Add one for nothing off free agents and you then have 15 again.
