Jagr will not be returning to the NHL it seems as he has re-signed with Avangard Omsk of the KHL.

That's unfortunate. Even at 38 his skills would be in high demand.

Whatever floats your boat I guess. I'd want a last shot at the Cup at that age. Like...one year, 3 million from Pittsburgh to deposit goals from Crosby or Malkin?

I'm sure I could make due with a slight paycut there.

Jagr said he doesn't like bidding wars and that he took the first offer he got. I recall Edmonton offering him a deal before he went to Russia and apparently Pittsburgh offered him a league minimum contract.
