Him and Karlsson have been nothing short of a Diddling revelation in the playoffs. Couldn't be happier with these two guys right now. Another 2A for Karlsson tonight, 40:38 minutes of hockey. Stellar.

We said this years ago homie, welcome to Regin's coming out party. The rest of us have been mixing the punch and putting out the hors d'oeuvres.

No we dont, Leclaire sucked all year. Tonight he earned the confidence of fan, team mates, and managment. He also earned his salary.

I still want to vent about the absurd refereeing again tonight...but I'm too happy right now to get angry.

N4L wrote:WOW, Im shocked here... guess Clouston is desperate enough to try anything at this point. I wouldnt be shocked if this game was done after the 1st 10 mins. We'll see if Leclaire is actually a big game goaltender.

Yup.

While everyone was Dung all over the decision, I was the first to say people would be pleasantly surprised by the guy tonight. Look at this...he set a Diddling franchise record for saves in a playoff game. The guy was outside of his skull tonight.

I never lost faith in this team. We just needed a break somewhere. Maybe this will be the thing that can help us play our game at home and get another win up on the board.

One period at a time boys.

Leclaire renewed my faith in a couple things tonight. I thought Leclaire would flop but I still understood the decision like I said in previous posts.

I still think this team is a few pieces short and some guys need to be putting in a way better effort and leading, but a lot of guys stepped up HUGE.

Fisher, way better, A Train was a beast, Karlsson lead the team in mins despite his huge gaff (rookie mistakes), Foligno easily had his best game, just amazing.

Karlsson's give away was more a result of Sutton and the Sens being spread out to quick (half were changing though) nothing Erik really could have done.

But it doesn't matter tonight Game 6 period 1 here we come. PLAYOFF GAME DAY: Game 5: Ottawa Senators (1) @ Pittsburgh Penguins (3) - 7:00pm ET - Thu. Apr. 22nd, 2010 - Page 37 805406 (blaring "Hero" - Enrique Iglesias all the way)

I've never been happier to have to eat my words. Fantastic game from Leclaire tonight.

Leclaire was absolutely stellar tonight. And the guys in front of him got committed to clearing the puck away from the net. Brilliant effort.

Regin and Karlsson may very well carry this team if a few peices can be added going forward. I still fully believe what I believe about Spezza and think he is the key to an absolute monster of a contender in 4 or 5 years.

Karlsson makes some HUGE mistakes but he learns and the amazing thing I saw from him tonight, right after that gaff, the Diddling kid kept going like it never happend. That's a special kid and as much as I knew he was going to be a star one day, I didnt think anyone can bounce back like that at 19 on the highest of levels. UNREAL.

I said this years ago too, but without much substance. Now it's backed up pretty solidly.

Foligno and Regin were Diddling beasts tonight, and that made Spezza more comfortable. Alfie was brutal most of the time but who cares.

I can't pinpoint it, but Regin really reminds me of another past or present player, not Zetterberg...maybe Jagr, but not really...

Dude, Karlsson took it up the middle when Crosby and Malkin were on the ice with no support. That's not even remotly on Sutton.

Maybe Datsyuk. Plays a lot like him as well.

I think we showed zero confidence in leclaire for tonight and basically conceded defeat. I doubted him for tonight, as did many so yeah we do.

Alfi cant even reach for a puck out there, that guy is playing injured, not hurt.
