I think the other face should be Cullen not Fisher in that picture in the GDT.

I'm tempted to also they should forfeit the game and take their golf clubs and then fly back to Ottawa to catch their tee off at Kanata Lakes.

The way the entire team has played is a joke, the fact that Elliott had to be yanked for this team to wake up and start playing playoff hockey is embarrassing.

It absolutely has to be Karlsson. Sorry, Dash, when I "commissioned" it I should have been more precise.

Think back to the movie. Alfie is the wiley veteran (Butch Cassidy/Newman). Karlsson is the raw, cocky rookie (Sundance/Redford).

If you want, you can throw in Spezza (Katherine Ross). But Cullen does not belong in that picture.

We'd be destroying Lehner if we just threw him in there, the guy just finished a stint in the OHL ....

LOL... if you put anyone other than Elliott or Leclaire you are telling the fans you give up. I'm sorry, but it's true. I am a huge fan of Lehner of course, and Brodeur was huge for us when we needed him, but what does it say when you are down 3-1 in the playoffs and you think putting in one of two rookies in for what could be the last game?

I thought all the players basically said that last night

This, I agree 100% with.

I think he goes back to Elliott but with a very short leash, and an in-private conversation saying that any goaltender swapping will likely have more to do with shaking up the team than anything else.

Leclaire did nothing to even make the decision difficult. Elliott in game 5.

Elliott has to go back in. He gives the team their best chance to win and he needs to experience because he's our number one next year.

Are the Senators ready to turn to rookie Mike Brodeur? Clouston didn't dismiss the possibility this morning at Scotibank Place.

Brodeur scored two straight wins in the club's net in January. He has been at practice with the Black Aces -- players who are with the team, but not dressing for games. Neither Leclaire nor Elliott was very good in the club's 7-4 loss in a crucial Game 4 at home Tuesday.

"I'm not going to comment on that because I'm not going to comment on who our goalie will be," said Clouston. "You're right, when we needed him (Brodeur) he was very good for us a couple of crucial times in times in the season. I will admit that for sure."

Why the heck not eh?! Really, give him a chance, give him a taste. Elliott or Leclaire will certainly not do any better next game, I would probably put money on it.

And, I do like Elliott and think he will be good for us in the future. I just don't think he has what it takes right now and his nerves are shot.

All want is for the Sens to win one more game so I at least get the number of games right in the bracket pool. Sarcasm
