If they had Vanek for the whole series, they would have won it.

Boston will have to play Pittsburgh or Philly next round. I don't like their chances.

Boston is going to have Savard back next round and if they play Pitt, well I dont think that team could possibly have more motivation, plus, their goaltending is better in Boston.

As for The Habs, my God is Halak a good goaltender, Price wont be back after his little blow up and the fact he coulf be the backup in Montreal for the next little while.

Also, speaking of Price, I think the best place for him to go would be a small-market team where the city isn't 100% focused on hockey. Maybe Dallas if they want a guy who can split starts with Lehtonen, maybe St. Louis if they don't re-sign Chris Mason.

Yeah but Boston knew Savard wasn't going to play...the Sabres were caught off guard by Vanek's injury.

He's going to Edmonton, thats pretty close to the perfect player for The Oilers to grab at this point.

Starting over will Hall, Eberle, MPS, Gagner, and Price... ya, not bad. They need some D though.

Actually, when you think about it, there's not much Price can get distracted by in Edmonton. No more smoking 20 cigarettes at once at a club or knocking up teenage girls (ALLEDGEDLY :D)

I think the only person on the planet that cares about that is Price.

Point being Edmonton is probably a pretty good city for him to go to. Close to home, family, not a lot of trouble there, and he can use what he has learned to help that team grow. I really do think he's the future goaltender of The Oilers.

I think someone should fax a memo to the locker rooms at the Chicago-Nashville game and tell them that they are, in fact, allowed to play defense.

And what did I tell you guys about Washington. That Dung 100 goals per game nonsense just doesn't work in the postseason. And their powerplay is clicking at something embarrassing like 2%. Pathetic.
