Tocchet had the respect of a lot of the players, I can expect some upset players in Tampa.

I thought I remembered hearing that Tocchet was doing a good job. Could be wrong though.

Well, they've missed the post season three times in a row... and they probably wanted to give the new GM a clean slate to bring in his own coach.

Lawton was a no-brainer, Tocchet is collateral, the new guy will want a more established coach I think.
