In a nothing game I'd pull Volch. Guy takes a beating day in and day out. He deserves a night off. Either him or Phillips. May as well not risk injuries

Really good call. That's all I can say, nice. Cowen to play tomorrow night? - Page 3 54934

If one of these events occurred, it would make my day:

1) Cowen scores a goal
2) Cowen and Karlsson team up to score a goal
3) Cowen lays out Steve Downie

It's not leaving -- just a hiatus. Or a sabbatical. I'm more vocal during the off-season in general, any way. There's no hockey to watch, so then I want to talk more. Razz

OK stop hiatusing and sabbaticalling then. Razz Yes I know neither of those are actually words.
Here at GMHockey the English language gets re-invented. Yes, yes it does.

Much to Dr. Poo's chagrin.

Wink

Nonsense. When have I ever ridden anyone's Donkey about poor grammar? I could, trust me -- I just don't.

Never said you typed out your "chagrin" on the board.

Wink

But I hear your chagrin... grumbling at your computer... cursing the mangling and bastardization of the English language that occurs on here.

Heh heh.

He was being sarcastic. Hence the emoticon Wink.

Although just because you don't comment on the grammar in here doesn't mean it doesn't bother you does it? I'm not saying it does or it doesn't but whether or not you comment isn't evidence that you don't care is it? Wink

BTW I'm only razzing you I couldn't care less either way. Smile

So here's the ultimate scenario:

Cowen back-pedaling through neutral zone tees up Steve Downie and unloads on him, the puck springs on to Karlsson's stick who's just come off the bench and he hot-foots it to the offensive zone with Cowen following in. After a nice move to get around Steven Stamkos, he drops the puck between his legs to Cowen who rockets a bomb of a shot into the top corner.
