Your allowed to have as many players as you want at this point I think. As long as it fits under the cap. I could be wrong on when the roster limit is lifted though.

Well, the only reason I see then would be the cap hit. We must be very close or over with Smith in.

You're right, it must be Butler, still strange they don't just sit him down though, he doesn't really need to be back in Bingo IMO.

We already have a ton of bodies up already though. Shannon and Donovan are sitting and I don't think Volchy or Kuba are on IR, so we're getting up there in terms of players.

Cool, thanks! I didn't know if it was possible if a team lost tonight that we'd clinch or something. So, if we can get even 1 point tomorrow we're in? No matter what?

You're right, it must be Butler, still strange they don't just sit him down though, he doesn't really need to be back in Bingo IMO.

I guess the thinking is, they don't want Smith to get stale on the bench, he should play as much as he can before the playoffs come around. If we can't fit him in, the logical thing is to send him to Bingo to finish up the season there and come back up in 1 week or 2 to get ready for the run.

I hope the fans at Scotiabank Place make their voices heard. The Cane-iacs will be out in full force!

I wish our building was louder. I'm one of those fans that gets embarassed when I start chanting because it's so freaking quiet around. It's really hard to get the crowd going and you feel kind of foolish being the only one being loud.

Can you believe the noise in Washington yesterday, they're great fans. It was loud throughout the whole game, even when things weren't going their way.

Perhaps last night, but the game before the fans booed them off the ice. They were all dumbfounded seeing as how they'd lost 5 games all year in regulation there. There were members of the team who were none too pleased - one of them was the coach.

Are you serious? They booed them off the ice for losing 5 home games ALL YEAR? Unbelievable. And they say our fans are fickle.
