As per Dallas Dave.

Yeah. I read much earlier today that Nashville wanted Parent back. I guess this makes sense.

Uh...not really?

I guess the various "bridesmaids" trying to land other players might pay even more for Volchenkov?

We all thought that Kuba would be gone last year too, and we were all anticipating a 1st round pick as the start of the talks. Will we be disappointed again (or relieved for some who love the Russian Bear?)

Sounds like Hamhuis to Philly is about set to happen.

well now that Philly has started (once it is official, if it is), now the other teams need to play catch up, Philly is a bubble team right now are they not? Figured they would have concentrated on a goalie since Emery is on LTIR.

It would make sense for Dan Ellis to find his way into that deal, no?

That's what I heard earlier from someone's tweet, but Dregor made no mention of Ellis this time, just that they're waiting for Cote to clear waivers before making the deal official. Which sucks obviously. 1st rounder for Hamhuis? Perhaps?

If true, very solid pickup (if the price isn't ridiculous) for Philly. IMO a pure rental though.

If we somehow lose A-train this off-season, atleast we'll have some nice options in terms of FA D-Men

Hamhuis, Michalek, Kubina, Seidenberg (if they aren't re-upped.)

Didn't the Flyers trade their 1st away in the Pronger deal??

how good would it be to have the Michalek bros in the line up eh? Kubina might be a bit too pricy for us, but man would it ever sting Toronto for us to get him.
