Nah, not really. Not like he is being traded out of everywhere because they need to get rid of him. He gets dealt because teams want him and signed for the same reason.

POLL: Which D-man will the Sens acquire on/by March 3rd

If the difference is even $1.5 million I think I'd rather go with Seidenberg. I know he's left handed, but maybe he would be a good fit with Karlsson?
Deeepends. If A Train gets 3.5 and Seidenberg gets 2, Ill go with A Train. Anything over that Ill take Seidenberg based on the fact it eats up a lot less of the cap for guys who are basically the same player.
Ohlund got his money. It's front loaded and he'll retire before the 7 years is up.N4L wrote:I actually like that group of defense.
Anyways, I dont see Seidenberg getting more then 2.5 TOPS. Hell, Ohlund got what? 3.75 last year... Thought he would get 5 for sure.

2 goals this year, it doesn't look like it.

I personally don't think the goals matter much, it's the assists if he's got a hard shot, means the goalies are having issues with the shot and there are rebounds. I'm still curious though...
N4L wrote:Ah, ok. Fair enough then. That being said a 2 year deal will look like 7 to Seidenberg. Anyways, I would love if Murray could lock Cullen and Seidenberg up after this season. Both good character guys and could fit right in.

He does have 20 assists playing on the 2nd PP unit. Beyond that I have no idea.

I dunno man...that's a tough one. Cullen is in line for 2.75 minimum and Seidenberg will get 2.5+, I feel pretty confident saying that, I think he'll be well compensated for taking a one year chance with Florida and being amazing for them - and now his stock has gone through the roof. If I was the Florida GM, I'd be dancing the jig. Especially with the ultimate showcase tonight.
We'll see, but how do we possibly add Cullen and the D-man we get at the deadline to next years roster? Gonna be tough.
SpezDispenser wrote:Do it now though Murray, don't wait until the actual deadline day where the prices are dumb. Our team is close, get a tough Diddler for the back end and call it a day.

He does have a pretty big shot. He was actually on the 'Canes 1st PP for a bit. John "The Man of the Fecal" Rodenburg claims that "a little bird" told him the Senators intend to acquire Seidenberg after the Olympic break.

I heard that. Who is JR? I'm not familiar with their names. Who is with York on Healthy Scratches?

JR is the dip$hit on TGOR. York is with that Dung for brains Steve "Sweaterman" Lloyd, who proclaimed the following prior to Game 7 of the NJD / CAR series last year: "Brodeur. At home. Game 7. Nuff said."
Nuff said, indeed, Sweaterman.
