Latvia/Czech best game of the tournament so far. Don't know where did the Latvians get all that jump but they looked like they were playing for their lives. Love that.

Remember Sven Kramer, the rude Dutchman who said "Are you stupid" to an NBC reporter who asked him (for tape identification) to say his name, sport and country of origin)? He was disqualified *after* winning the 10,000 m because at one point he used the wrong lane. Apparently it was a mistake made by his coach, but still.

That same reporter should interview him again and, this time, she could lead with "Of course *everyone* now knows who Sven Kramer is and what he is famous for ..."

He's apparently the Crosby and Ovechkin of Speed Skating. It's a huge upset. I guess the Crosby reference wasn't to class though.

Once again I'm amazed at how petty people can be. They pick this out to critize with Imma Be by the Black Eyed Peas is flooding our air waves...

Remember "We are the World"? In it Jackson wrote (and sings)

Now, it's not exactly a rhyme, but "I" (which is the grammatically correct word) works better with "lives"; alternatively, he could have replaced "Just" with "For" -- given the previous two lines, it would have actually also made more sense.
