And someone was claiming they have better defense than us GAME DAY: Ottawa Senators @ Toronto Maple Leafs - 7:00pm ET - SAT. Feb 6, 2010 - Page 7 270956

What a collapse. I saw only the final two minutes of that game -- TOR gives up a PP goal with less than a minute, and then gives up an even strength goal with less than 20 seconds.

That team finds ways to lose.

Also noteworthy: guess who was out on the point, with Kovalchuk, in the last minute of the game, on the PP, making the sweet pass to Zajac? Yep, Dean McAmmond. Go Deaner!

He apparently made an even better play to hold up with puck just before the goal to give the extra man time to join the play. Good heads up veteran play.

Before that he scored the 2nd NJ goal at 3min left. Then right after we can see Lemaire talk to his assistant coach, probably saying, "we're givin him extra time"

You're kidding...did they lose tonight? I forgot to check and I'm scared to check... Ahhhhh!

They so lost.

Left to right: Spezza, Kelly, Elliott, Fisher, Neil, Underwood, Alfie, Volchenkov, Phillips, Karlsson, Leclaire, Lee, Murray (Leclaire and Lee complaining about their "ice" time and Murray saying "what do you want from me, you lost you spots!")

Working title: L'Utlima Cena-tors? Sena-tors?

Judas is the one with his elbow on the table (Fisher). From Wikipedia:
The Last Supper specifically portrays the reaction given by each apostle when Jesus said one of them would betray him. All twelve apostles have different reactions to the news, with various degrees of anger and shock. From left to right:

* Bartholomew, James, son of Alphaeus and Andrew form a group of three, all are surprised.
* Judas Iscariot, Peter and John form another group of three. Judas is wearing green and blue and is in shadow, looking rather withdrawn and taken aback by the sudden revelation of his plan. He is clutching a small bag, perhaps signifying the silver given to him as payment to betray Jesus, or perhaps a reference to his role within the 12 disciples as treasurer. He is the only person to have his elbow on the table. Peter looks angry and is holding a knife pointed away from Christ, perhaps foreshadowing his violent reaction in Gethsemane during Jesus' arrest. The youngest apostle, John, appears to swoon.
* Jesus
* Apostle Thomas, James the Greater and Philip are the next group of three. Thomas is clearly upset; James the Greater looks stunned, with his arms in the air. Meanwhile, Philip appears to be requesting some explanation.
* Matthew, Jude Thaddeus and Simon the Zealot are the final group of three. Both Jude Thaddeus and Matthew are turned toward Simon, perhaps to find out if he has any answer to their initial questions.

What position does Underwood play? Smile

The only one I wasn't sure about was Ruutu, although that's who I thought it was. Volchenkov was quite obvious to me.

Thanks, I did not know any of that.

I too think this is going to be a difficult game with the tragic news of the death of Brendan Burke, but we cannot let that interfere with our quest for 12.

Look what Mikey was up to when the Sens had a couple of days off last weekend:
GAME DAY: Ottawa Senators @ Toronto Maple Leafs - 7:00pm ET - SAT. Feb 6, 2010 - Page 7 Carrie-underwood-013110-3

He didn't walk the red carpet because Carrie said she didn't want to "feed him to the wolves" this early in their engagement. So he waited for her at the other end.

I think she seriously underestimates the amount of media attention hockey gets in Ottawa. Yes, yes, I know it's different because it's Hollywood and all, but Mike's been photographed, interviewed, mic'd up quite a bit.

She probably didn't want him to face the inevitable embarrassing questions of "And you are??" or "What's it like being a nobody and being engaged to a somebody??" Because they don't know who Mike Fisher is.

Yeah I saw that, I also saw him sitting there looking lost all alone while Carrie was backstage GAME DAY: Ottawa Senators @ Toronto Maple Leafs - 7:00pm ET - SAT. Feb 6, 2010 - Page 7 270956

Remember when I said the Leafs could not lose more than 3 in order to have a chance at 90 points? Last night was that went down to no-more than 2 losses. If the Sens run their streak to12 then it will down to no-more than 1 win. Are they really that close to being (nearly mathematically) eliminated?

It's been discussed on Regis & whoever and on Ellen. I think most people (who follow Underwood) know pretty well who Mike Fisher is. Heck, they might even know his jersey number.

By the way, the Sens announced the red/black teams for the skills competition on Sunday. Karlsson is on Team Black (Alfie's team). The announcement just came out yesterday. So is Kocky Erik well enough to take part?

Also the twitter update quotes Clouston saying he is "doubtful to play before the Olympic break. That's a little different from what was being discussed earlier (not until after the break) or what was said on another board (out a month).

By the way, it's an afternoon game for Habs/Pens. Go ... Habs?

We're aiming for the division now, so Pitts is irrelevant.
I'll never cheer for the Habs
