Hahahah, Barnaby was embarassed by the other panelists, they completely shut him down.

Gotta love the blind Ottawa hate.

And since when is Kovalev the leader of the Sens? There's obviously some jealousy issues there, as Kovalev has been one of the better Sens over this winning streak.

Nobody's shipping leclaire out of town until Elliott wins playoff series with this team and Lehner have at least 1 back-up season in the NHL. Which means 2 or 3 years.

Unless of course, next year Elliott plays lights out and we trade leclaire at the deadline.

How does Elliott get to win a playoff series if Leclaire is here? It's rare that your biggest earner will not get the call in a playoff series.

Varlamov over Theodore.

Maybe he shouldn't get his panties in a bunch when he thinks guys are checking out his boyfriend?

Maybe Barnaby should stick to what he knows? Oh wait..that's nothing though.

Barnaby is the anti-velcro. He sticks to what he knows, which is nothing.

Oh, boy, you're going that far back, eh? Well Roy and Dryden were both rookies, so probably brought it as backups.

But Steve Penney, wow, that brings back some memories. I was still living in Montreal at the time.

Looking for big games from Kovalev and Ruutu. Looking for some, umm, scrutiny toward Cook.

GO SENS GO!!!!

1. Elliott has been in The NHL for a year, Ive never questioned his ability, tallent, or potential. He went through a streak where he was "off" and still battled back. Mason has been off all year and still hasnt found his game, Price has been off for 2 years now and both those guys were "candidates" to be Team Canada's 3rd goalie. Young goalies have trouble with a longer schedual, a tougher grind, and pressure of being the go to guy. Elliott has battled back on and off the ice. You can look through any of the post, I have never questioned Elliott.

2. Brodure in The AHL, that Bingo team has an awful defense. The AHL isnt the same game and The NHL and it looks like Brodure might actually be successful as an NHL goaltender then he would be an AHL goaltender. The chances teams give up in The AHL are not the same as The NHL, it's a league to learn and develope, Brodure wont improve or be really successful down there. The guy isnt a number 1 and chances are he never will be, but I dont have a lot of doubt he can be a backup. That's a lucky find by Murray.

I wasn't suggesting that you were questioning Elliott, only that I think an NHL team would probably approach this with caution. Elliott's a good goalie, most people on here like him a lot, but with 20 games of being inconsistent when the top goalie is down comes some scrutiny. I'm impressed as heck at the way he's battled back, but still, I doubt the Sens brass are willing to trade Leclaire on the strength of 5 awesome outings. The same way I doubt they'd trade Leclaire and make Brodeur Elliott's backup right now, because that would still proclaim Elliott as our number one - and I think that's still premature.

Sadly enough, now would be time for Leclaire to get hit in the cheekbone, so we could see how Elliott would handle it for the next month, with Brodeur backing him up, but Leclaire's probably due back any day now.

PVR for me as well, but then so is almost every game. I'll catch a little here, a little there.

Im worried one of these games that Crosby is just going to explode against us. His stats against the sens just seem to bad to be true.

I see they are almost doubling the Pens in shots. Good start (other than Fisher's giveaway)?
