Campoli played one of his best games too. I have been a noted hater but tonight he was physical and effective at both ends.

I didn't think Fisher played great...he wasn't bad, but he wasn't himself. Outside of that the rest of the team were very good.

I can't believe how on SNet they gave Molson's 1st star to Kuba; 2nd to Ellliott and I can't even remember the 3rd. Point is it wasn't Folilgno. But, damn, how could they get it *THAT* wrong? He had a whale of a game from the start all the way to the end. Sure, give Eilliott props for the shutout. Kuba as the first star is just challenged on several levels.

Folks, we're in quite a nice little streak, here. 7 goals in 7 games; no PP goals allowed over that stretch; outscored the opposition 23-7. All with our #1 goalie sidelined with a concussion.

Oh, for the record, now that it's safe to say, I voted "Ottawa wins by 2 or more goals", and when I voted I was the 3rd to do so. Now the count is up to 5.

I was the 2nd to vote.

I could be wrong here, but I'm almost 100% sure Kuba was 1st, Elliott was 2nd and Foligno was 3rd.

The two hottest teams right now are the Sens and the Caps. They meet up Feb. 11.

hmm how bout that? TSN's SportsCentre kicks off with the Sens highlight....even before the leafs! They're finally accepting the irrelevance of the maple leafs.

Vancouver's up there too...but would be nice if both teams met on February 11th with their streaks still intact

our schedule doesn't seem that hard for the rest of the season, besides more road than home. after the pens we have two against wash, one philly, a few sabres, one detroit. im very pleasantly surprised by how the sens have come together as a team lately.

Boy, if this team can play within such a beautifully structured system like they have over this streak - and especially in the 1st period of tonight's game, we're gonna be so tough to play against. Depth, a bone-crunching 4th line, a skilled 2a line with Kovalev and Regin making teams match accordingly. Factor in that we average the 4th lowest shot totals per game and I'd say we're gonna be a team other teams might actually dread coming in to play. Now again, please guys, stick to this aggressive forechecking style - it's great!

Huh, so did Sportsnet. This is a big story for sure. I flipped to the Detroit/Phoenix game and they were talking about the Sens during the play, saying how Elliott had answered the bell and that any team with Alfie and Spezza will be a good one. I was surprised to hear it on VS to be honest. Then Upshall scored what may have been the goal of the year and they stopped.
