I was there for the first Alfie chant in the playoffs that caused him to score, possibly my favourite Sens moment of all time. But I did not like it when SBP tried to get people to do it by flashing it on the scoreboard. I can only dream of the day when spontaneous cheering because the norm and Sens fans no longer need prompting from the scoreboard to get loud. Dare to dream!

Our kids will be the ones who start it I think. It'll have to be, this generation sits on their hands way too much.

I was there too. That is my favourite Sens moment and is the reason for my Avatar. It was right about at the moment of that photo that the first ever arena wide chant begun.

I know my kids will, they won't have a choice! Smile The whole first generation fan base seems lost on my leaf fan friends who state how lame it is that there is not more Sens fans, I tell them, give us 5 generations and we will get there.

How about going with a good ol' Marines chant. Something like:

I don't know what you've been told
(echo/repeat each line)
That "Ole" chant's getting old
"Talk is cheap" is what we say
Shut it or we'll make you pay

What about something about fans blowing themselves up? GAME DAY: New Jersey Devils @ Ottawa Senators - 7:30pm ET - Tue. Jan. 26. 2010 - Page 24 235689 GAME DAY: New Jersey Devils @ Ottawa Senators - 7:30pm ET - Tue. Jan. 26. 2010 - Page 24 805406

Elliott looks fantastic. Leciare wont be getting back in anytime soon.

But even when he's doing other things and not scoring you still pick apart his every move. Yes, he's the teams highest paid player, but the standard you hold him to is almost unfair. It's not proportionate at all.

Expecting Spezza to be the best player on the ice is not unfair IMO. Being that far off from being the best player on the ice most night is unacceptable.

There comes a point (this was a long time ago) when your constant nagging of Spezza becomes old.

It is time to move on.

He hung on to it too long. But on the other hand, previously he's been criticized for always looking to pass it off. This time he actually tried to get int a shooting position himself.

Not dropping it between your legs with a D in the zone, not against The Devils, and not at the blueline. Dumb move and this game would be over if The Devils got the lead there, they dont give it up on the road. That is the kind of crap that cost you games.

Right frigging here.
