1 goal in two games. That the goaltending has been bad only compounds things.

Fisher goalless since the engagement (I think). He will be known as Mike Underwood until he scores.

That there is a page 6 of a GDT is saying something, too.

This is getting painful, there are many problems with this team that go past our injuries.

Tonight's game epitomized all the problems I've seen with the Sens this year.

1. We badly outplayed the Canes in the first, outshot them to Dung - yet no goals.

2. We finally net one in the second, yet very shortly afterwards the Canes tie it up.

3. Weak goal deflates the team.

4. Only down one goal heading into the third and we just can't seem to be able to generate any solid scoring chances -- all perimeter shots.

All four of these aforemetioned points have become a daily routine with this team, it's become much too predictable -- and painful.

Well let's hope we don't keep feeling sorry for ourselves and show up in ATL.

He probably won't mind. Would you? All that anticipation, I'm impressed he can still get his equipment on, much less skate quickly.

Same man, Chuck is becoming one of my faves.....

Although the Lost premiere for me is going to be bigger GAME DAY: Ottawa Senators @ Carolina Hurricanes - 5:00pm ET - Sun. Jan. 10th, 2010 - Page 7 805406

I hope the package we get back for Volchenkov is good.

Then he should be neutered.

Apparently the team held a players-only meeting after the game.

If he won't re-sign, of course.

Yep, if we keep losing then Murray will really have not choice but to deal him. I like A-Train as much as anybody but we can't keep going with the status quo anymore and a few changes need to be made.

Lets hope we can get a good prospect and another fairly high draft choice.

If Murray is really serious about PLayoffs, he is probably on the phone 24/7. That's probably the easiest part of the job though...

They got Staal back and he was first star. Also Ward has been playing very well lately, ever since he came back from that leg laceration. Him getting injured had a lot to do with their current situation.

Well, Lost is a special kind of show. Commercially successful, critically acclaimed, and we both like it (and my folks, to boot -- gives us something to talk about when they visit). If I'm not mistaken, I got my HDTV right about the time that Lost came out -- Hawaii looks gorgeous in high-def.

Oh yeah Lost in HD (with that season-ending music) is simply gorgeous.
