That kid is the future of Team Canada's blueline. I've been watching as many Kings games as I can this year, this kid is generational. He'll have a monopoly on the Norris trophy as he gets older.

That's good to hear. He's so young... incredible.

He's unbelievable. His shot is phenomenal, his positioning his unteachable, his offensive abilities are unparalleled, his defensive coverage is way above average, he's built as solid as a rock.

The kid had 27 points in his rookie season last year, he has 26 so far this year, and he's not even at the half way mark of the season yet.

Phenomenal young talent....he's only 20 years old. Unheard of.

Look at the guys they have to potentially leave off of their roster.

I was refering to the Americans. I suppose you could say Canada has a fair amount of youth too, but I like Canada's mix of veteran talent there to insulate them. The US doesn't have that level of veteran talent imo.

Rafalski's best days have passed, Whitney sucks, Komisarek sucks, Orpik is good, but not good enough to shut down the Canadians or Russians. Suter and Bogosian are amazing, but young and inexperienced.

They're gonna crack under the pressure IMO, but we'll find out.

Hainsey sucks. Martin and EJ are both really solid, they'll make a difference. Did they get on, or are they on a taxi squad?

I should say that I think the US has a chance IF everything goes right for them.

I'm pretty sure the US has a higher average age on their roster than the Canadians do.

You have to remember guys like Keith, Seabrook, Crosby, Perry, Getzlaf, Weber, Doughty, Fleury, Toews and Staal are all in their mid-to-low 20s.

The US have not named their roster yet... on Jan. 1st after the outdoor game.
