Hmm, I wonder when (if) St. Pierre is going to get a shot?

TSN's Ice Chips have been updated with the following:

http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/feature/?id=11009

"Daniel Alfredsson (shoulder) is expected to miss two-to-four weeks after suffering a left shoulder injury on Wednesday. Ryan Keller was recalled from Binghamton of the AHL and will replace Alfredsson in the Sens' lineup. - TSN"

Honestly...what does he have to do to play in the majors for us?

I support this, don't get me wrong, but only if he gets top 6 minutes and has a chance to provide offensively.

I thought a guy like Bass or Smith would've gotten the call. We have to be a ferocious checking team. Let's hope that Clouston can rally the troops with the lineup we're icing.

What's the deal with Bass? Last two seasons he was given a roster spot basically, and only lost them because of injuries. Now he didn't even make it out of camp. Is he redundant with Neil and Carkner in the line-up? Actually would have been the guy they should have called up when Neil went down.

Fisher needs to stay strong

Kovalev and Michalek need to step up

Volchenkov, Carkner, Neil and Donnovan have to play mean

Leclaire needs to steal a few

Spezza and Alfie come back rested

We pick up Cole at the deadline

Who knows....

SF56?

Cole has not been the player he used to be... he's been traded to EDM and back which should be an indicator his time is done. His health has deteriorated from his previous style of play.

I agree, in the short term we could have used Bass instead of Keller

We need to turn into a defensive hard hitting team until alfie, spezza, and hopefuly someone like cole can be brought in.

What pieces are we exactly going to move to bring someone like Cole in?

Maybe Cheechoo will finally start getting some permanent top six minutes...anything to get this guy in good position to score some goals.

Anyone else noticed that Erik Karlsson is a team worst -12...yikes.

Kelly, Picard and SJ second should do it.

Carolina is not making the playoffs and Cole is out of favour.

Maybe against Buffalo, a team that can't score, but for the next 3 weeks we'll need scoring help a lot more than ferocious checking.

Yeah, I believe I mentioned it. But how much of that is on Kuba's shoulders, though? With the exception of his first game back, Kuba has been pretty awful.
