I think Cole might be done personally. We're 4 years too late on that one.

I think Ottawa needs to stock up on the forward prospects. Maybe we should consider getting Beach and some other big, nasty scoring powerforward types.

Yeah, I'm not sure how to go about doing that, but this team needs some skilled, big, nasty dudes to fill out the prospect ranks.

I'm very impressed with Peter Regin as well. What a tremendous little player he's becoming.

Hopefully some teams will give up one to get a playoff type guy.

Volchenkov for sure could get you a good prospect and some.

Not sure what Kelly could get, or Kuba (tough cause they aren't UFA's) and are not playing well enough).

I wonder if we can get Buff? 11 goals already...

That does make more sense...I was trying pretty hard to make sense of it with my "experience" angle... Campoli played a really good game though. If I were basing the next scratch on last night's game, it would be Kuba, without question.

Cole makes 2.9 There is a thing called a salary cap.

Kelly has a bloated contract and picard is useless. The second is what gets you Cole.

Anyways, there's a thing called even-value and your trade is anything but. Picard is our 6th D-man and has more points on the season than our 1st (and any other D-man). Kelly is having a very strong year and can be of much value to a playoff team...not Carolina. And that 2nd is a building block for the future, for a team with little hope for the present... In other words, that trade proposal is dog Dung.

After acquiring Cole I think we should sign Gary Roberts.

After acquiring Cole and Roberts, the Sens should continue their hot free agent signing frenzy and sign Shanahan, Allison and Chelios.

It was priceless during the late in the first when the sabres still didnt have a shot, the crowd started chanting 'lets go, shot on goal'. Then when they finally did they got a 30sec standing ovation.
