The Bruins (or, should I say Tim Thomas?) are 9-1 in their last 10 against the Sens. Thomas has won his last 9 starts against us, sporting a 1.66 GAA in the process. His style and ours definitely don't mesh.

On the other hand, Ottawa is 8-1-0 in their last 9 at home. Both of our losses against the Bruins this year have come in the shootout. In both games we scored 3 goals on TimThom in regulation (so imagine how good he was in the previous 7 to average 1.66).

It's definitely time for the tide to turn.

Look at that Mike Brodeur kid. 1 GAA and .957 save percentage. Why don't we play that guy? GAME DAY: Boston Bruins @ Ottawa Senators - 7:30pm ET - Mon. Dec. 21st, 2009 - Page 2 805406 GAME DAY: Boston Bruins @ Ottawa Senators - 7:30pm ET - Mon. Dec. 21st, 2009 - Page 2 235689

In case no one has said this already. Thanks for the GDTs. Nice work covering for shabbs. I had written one up for Minny that was 3 paragraphs long and then lost the post. I gave up after that so thanks again.

Thank you. Like I said after starting the first one, I have a new appreciation for Shabbs' efforts (and I am beginning to question his mental state a little -- I mean, the rep points, surely, can't make up for the aggravation?)

There was at least one time where I clicked a bookmarked link instead of Ctl-Clicking it, and lost my edits. That's an annoying "feature". I've got my Firefox configured to "remember" form entries, so on most sites if I do that and then go back, the info is still there. Not here, for some reason. For the second one I used Wordpad to organize, then copy/pasted into the edit box.

I predict 4-3. In a shoot out. Hopefully those are the only similarities from the last two Boston games.

Speaking of shoot outs, have they tried Karlsson in practice? Smooth, fast skater, good, accurate shot, you never know. When Wiercioch eventually makes it I think he could do decent as well.

I was thinking Winchester had to register a point to stay on that top line. Good thing he did because putting him with Michalek and The Alfie has made that trio look more like a "real line" than they have all year.

You might even say they look WAMazing? Sarcasm

Seriously though you're probably right. Winnie had to be the Pooh on the score sheet and that assist probably saved him for another game. Now he needs to pot some goals to stay a little longer me thinks.

It sucks, but that's the way it goes I guess. He needs to hit more too. GAME DAY: Boston Bruins @ Ottawa Senators - 7:30pm ET - Mon. Dec. 21st, 2009 - Page 2 235689 GAME DAY: Boston Bruins @ Ottawa Senators - 7:30pm ET - Mon. Dec. 21st, 2009 - Page 2 805406

One of my clerks is a Boston fan. Should I fire him if we lose?

Thanks.

That would be such a Larry David thing to do.

Or do an Office Space - tell him he's going to have to come in on Saturday....

Only if he's wearing his Bruins Jersey today or tomorrow.
