Also...it's HIGH time ( ) that Emery paid the piper. He's never REALLY suffered enough for the Dung he pulled here. Now, it's full circle and he's taking some heat. Not enough yet, but it's a start.

Well, if Emery could actually stop a puck it might be different. Like I said before, Emery was over rated since day 1 and is a below average goaltender in The NHL. I'll take Elliott 100 times over before I take Emery.

He's not a good goaltender. People were screaming how well he was doing in Russia last year and how it might have been a mistake to let him go... well by that logic we should bring back Gerber, he's even better then Emery was.

Emery sucks and he MIGHT get resigned but no way is he a number 1 goaltender, he's a backup.

I'm sure that douchebag, Pronger, won't get blamed.

Dont think so... not Pronger's style. If there are issue's with him and everyone else on the planet on a personal level, that I can buy.

Pronger knows how to win, like it or not.

Pronger is a jerk but he brings results. Kind of like Avery (for the Rangers anyway).

I think Emery is somewhat overrated but he's not that bad of a goalie. If he's successful in Philly it will be for the same reasons he was successful here.

His defence will make him look good.

Emery isnt a good goaltender man. It took one year in The NHL for teams to figure out how to beat him, still using the same book. He's brutal. No consistancy, easy to get off his game, not all that tallented to be honest. His hockey IQ and ability to read the play is close to the bottom of the league in terms of goalies, not just starters.

To me, Pronger is the biggest bunghole in the league by far, but he's also ridiculously good. One of my favourite players to watch.

According to CKAC's host, Eric Desjardins has personally told him there's a rift between the veterans such as Pronger, Lapierre, Gagne etc. vs the younger players like Carter, Richard, Coburn etc. The rift is apparently MUCH deeper than people on the outside think, with the vets being very upset by the younger players partying all the time. The only official names he would name are Pronger and Richards - but there are apparently many more involved.

Yikes. Could this get a lot worse before it gets better?
