Again, I look right at Chicago.

If I'm looking at Chicago, I'm looking at Barker before Sharp.N4L wrote:shabbs wrote:I would think that if a bona fide, high quality top 6 forward was offered up for Elliott, Murray would be very tempted to bite. But, the likely hood of that is pretty low I think.

That said, I like him and I like his game as well - even if I do think the Leafs made the wrong choice by not taking Cowen.

I don't know I always thought Kadri would be a guy who would complement a Kessel. It's a good thing that the Leafs wrong choice was our biggest gain
Meh. I think a lot of it has to do with how TSN portrayed the meeting with Burke/Murray. If Cowen had not been available, we may have picked Kadri, who knows. The Cowen pick was a no brainer for the Sens, we needed him in our pipe line.Sens19 wrote:shabbs wrote:Not sure what you mean, I have not seen a lot of anti-Kadri on here. No no don't get me wrong, I didn't mean here. It's just among many Sens fans I've spoken to and it makes me wonder whether it was just that Burke drafted him instead of Murray
Flo The Action wrote:personaly i see kardi as a bottom top 6. you know a guy that will never get past the 20 goal(maybe 25 sometimes). that's not saying he's bad but he was picked what 7th over all? i think there were way better options out there. so i don't have that much love for him. when we need a top 6, we need a guy that will net 25 every year. like a michalek. and that's what i think we should be hunting for.
