On the positive side for Habs fans, Price is definitely not washed up, over the hill, a bust, incapable of handling the starting position or anything else members of this site have thrown at him.

He's been stupendous, and he's still only 22.

Worst part is, they play Washington, Detroit, Columbus, Pittsburgh and Washington again in their next five.

He's certainly stepped it up recently, I'll give him that.

If I were Bob "Face de Ch'val" Gainey I would still trade Price for Lecavalier.

Of course, but I think Smith would have to come the other way too. It would be a pretty big deal.

Both teams could use a jumpstart I guess and Montreal could use someone bigger than 5'11", 170 lbs on one of their top lines...

Interesting thought although I think the trade would have happened in the off season if it was going to.
