Can the Habs avoid a 6-game losing streak? Apparently, yes.

Dang. Price has been a bit of a disappointment for me in the pool, but if Markov hadn't gotten injured I still think he would be having a good season. He played very well in the first two games (their only two wins, eh?) Halak is not going to save them.

Kovalchuk with a hattie tonight, Pavelec stones the Smurfs cold, maybe not a shut out, but pretty close.

I'm hoping that Antropov and Kubina light Halak up (but, oddly, Kovalchuk and the rest getting shut out); then Price comes back in and steals the game as unknown (and unpicked) Smurfs wreak havoc in the offensive zone. And if we count points for goalies, maybe Price could get a secondary assist or two on one of Kubina's or Antropov's goals.

you must be wanting that for pool purposes right? that is the only way such an outrageous demand would make sense. Can the Habs avoid a 6-game losing streak? Apparently, yes. - Page 3 668437

Habs really should have won this game before the SO, hit a couple of posts and Atlanta wasn't flowing like their other games.

Well, the Habs snapped their losing streak but it took a SO to do it.

You were correct! Shootout win for Halak. He shut out all the Atlanta snipers after regulation and overtime.

So their 3 wins this season have all come in extra time. Not good.

This game was awful. What a horrible match to watch. If it were anybody other than the Habs, the score would have been 8-1... I haven't seen that many missed opportunities in a LONG time. I thought Pavelec looked absolutely horrific, but the Habs somehow made him look good by missing absolutely every empty net possible.

God I hate the Habs.

You can even make his hat into one of those "classic" Habs toques. Smile
