Can the Habs avoid a 6-game losing streak? Apparently, yes.

They host the Thrashers tonight at the Bell Centre. Thrashers are off to a 4-1-0 start and the Habs find themselves in a 5-game losing streak. Markov's injury is hurting them big time... will Bergeron give them an added boost to snap out of this losing streak? We'll find out tonight.

I don't think the Habs lack of defense will be able to stop Kovalchuk, Atlanta has a lot of good things going for them (scoring, goaltending) while Montreal has everything going wrong for them, by no means is it a lock, but if Montreal stays in their funk, Atlanta beats them.

is there an emoticon that consists of Bob Gainey effigies, because if this keeps up much longer, Gainey might want to consider going into witness protection because the fans will be wanting blood.

Thrashers are going to light them up... they pay The Habs tough every time. Hopefully its an absolute disaster of a game for the Habs.

HA HA! Absolute disaster... an 8-0 blowout would be nice... with Price in net for all 8.

Halak is a better goaltender then Price so... that would actually give them a chance.

but Gainey seems to have an ace in the hole to keep getting Price the starts, I don't know if he thinks that if he keeps throwing the kid under the bus, he will finally respond? He is going to break this kid's spirit big time if this keeps happening.

Price is broken already. What Gainey did to Price and The Habs is close to criminal. He ruined what could have been a really good goaltender at this point. Price wont find his true form now until he is about 25, 26 if he ever actually does now... might not even be in Montreal.

Gainey is on the same level as Burke in terms of making absolute blow hard moronic decisions.

Price would have to be traded if he is ever going to have somewhat of a successful career, will it happen, well, that remains to be seen, but with each passing disappointing loss, Gainey looks more and more like an idiot for trading Huet for a 2nd round pick only.

As I suggested when the Lecavalier to Montreal rumours were in full swing, if Gainey balked at a deal because TB wanted Price, he should be shot.

I dont think Huet was the answer in Montreal but he 100% was def never a problem. It was good to have a border line starter to help Price along if he got in trouble (like everyone knew he eventually would). Instead they have one, late 2nd round pick to show for it...

Pisses me off watching a guy like this get thrown to the wolves in Montreal... I said last year Elliott will end up being the better goaltender between him and Price, so far, I believe I'm right on track with that prediction because of they way each are being handled.
