No, I'm not passing judgment on the thread. I'm passing judgment on NHL experts and how much credence people give their rankings.

Yeah it's true. They make a big deal out of what an amazing surprise these teams are that were supposed to be deemed basement dwellers. They don't just admit that they were way off and predictions of this sort are irrelevant. They just drone on and on about what a great surprise it is.

Oh, it's BS. That being said I defently didnt think Ottawa would be as bad as they predicted, they might be worse. I dont think I was guilty of homerism because I actually thought Campoli and Kuba would be producing at a decent clip with a better overall team game... They have both been HUGE let downs. Kuba has been pretty good defensivly though and he is still finding his stride after being out the first 8 games or w/e it was.

I think Kuba will turn it around. Apparently he's playing on the wrong side? That's not helping.

Nope, so tough to do as a D man. Like I said on Sunday night, there are few players who can do it effecivly.

It's not looking good for my predictions. Hey at least I have Ottawa right...for now LOL.

I'm happy to say that Ottawa has exceeded my expectations thus far.

There were more than a couple of people adamant that the Sens would make it in 5th. Pretty impressive right now.

Wow, my East predictions are terrible. The West is a little better. Mind you, I think 4 of the teams I have there aren't even close to playoffs.
