Although I like his leadership, I don't think Ryan Smyth was the right acquisition for the Kings' on-ice product.

No sir, that would have been Dany Heatley.

Teams in the West should be wary of the Yotes now that Tippett is coaching them, I fully believe that. They'll have full structure now and an attack based system for their youngsters to excel in.

How long is JP Dumont out? He got a nasty hit to the head and had to be helped off apparently.

We'll see how much of this is "new coach" effect and if they settle back down to their usual suckiness.

For sure. :^^^^: But still, he should be able to eek out a few wins for them over the course of the year.

Why the Diddle are we three days into a brand new season of hockey and there isn't even one game? Ridiculous. Frustrated2 <-----I should move that particular smiley up, I think I'm using it a lot this year. Wink

I wish the Sens were back at it today. Want to erase some of the negative Dung and get to scoring some goals.

The Nashville Tennessean
is reporting that J.P. Dumont is expected to return soon after leaving
Saturday's game with an injury. Coach Barry Trotz said that the team
kept him from returning due to precautionary reasons.

That hurts the Sharks, there goes the last heart within the top six outside of Joe.

Rangers win 3-2 over NJ.

Maybe we should've taken that rumored trade of Dubinsky + Del Zotto for Heatley ? General Hockey Talk - Injuries, signings, factoids + other news from around the league - Page 13 Confused

Meh, it's a little early to start 2nd guessing the trade don't you think?

The apocalyptic view taken by some this early in the season is surprising.
