when do the next set of cuts happen? I notice Bass was cut again (little slow on that one), wow, was he just a flash in the pan that one half or less of a season?

I saw a game where Spezza was wearing the A. I don't remember which game it was nor do I remember if Fisher was playing in that game.

I'm going to assume Fisher gets it but it'd be nice if they came out and anounced it already.

ummmm who's he talking to? Camp cuts and other notes - Page 20 89286

I'm not one of N4L's pawns so my opinions are not as important as his.

I'm just wondering if someone had said two years ago kovalev and cheechoo would be on this team, how many "authorities" would have laughed.

Anyways, back to hockey.......

We playing chess? It's a great game. I prefere to think of everyone as my BlTCH

Now who needs to join reality? Keyboard warriors are hilarious, do you push the keys harder than the rest of us to prove your toughness? Grow up.

seriously: who are you referring to? re: "I'm not one of N4L's pawns so my opinions are not as important as his."

He is referring to me. It's been an ongoing thing. If most people disagee with a comment someone else makes, they politely write a counter argument. If N4L disagrees, you get insulted, ridiculed, and then told the "facts" according to him. It's just something we all live with. He really is a good contributer and I like to read his comments, I just wish he could treat the rest of us with some respect.....

Non, no, no, no, no. CC's point was, if sistu says *he* isnot one of Neely's pawns, then by implication some of *us* are his pawns. Are you suggesting that *you* are one of his pawns? You've disagreed with him, so that can't be the case.

I think CC is just a bit ticked off about the implication that some of the longer-standing members here are pawns of Neely just because we do not argue with him as vehemently.

And if that, really, is the case, then sidstu is really, really far off the mark.

"As for the Senators, they too, like the Canadiens, have their eyes set on upgrading on Defense. They are looking at either de Vries via signing and/or Hannan via trade. On insider called one of those two men in Ottawa and "almost certainty." -Eklund

It's amazing the crap this guy posts. I wish someone would put an end to his tyranny (e5).

Even though Eklund is a pathological liar, I wouldn't mind trading Kelly and Schubert for Hannan (who I don't like that much but he fits the bill).

Garrioch states Cowen is going back to Spokane after tonight's game.

While defenceman Jared Cowen will return to his WHL team in Spokane
after the game here tonight against the Tampa Bay Lightning at the
Brandt Centre, the club is expected to keep 27 players around.

"We have a couple of different options but we will probably wait
until after the Boston game," said Clouston this morning. "There is no
sense of urgency. We have an idea of what we got here, but we will wait
and see how the game goes tonight."

I was going to let it go, but now that its up for discussion, I want to clarify my question:

It was 111519 that made the pawn comment and yet he didn't seem to understand that my question was directed towards him. Maybe I missed sidstu's comment about pawns...I was referring to ###....

TSN Ice Chips is reporting that Spezza and Kovy will play together for the first time.

Seems to go against conventional thinking, I guess Clouston wants try as many combinations as possible Smile

he has the ability to play with the lines and the games don't count, so hell yeah, Clouston try every combination possible to see how has chemistry.

Holy Dung, Kovalev with Spezza. Who's the poor bastard who plays the other wing? He'll never touch the puck.

He'll literally have to use his speed to get the puck away from Spezza and Kovalev. :^^^^:
