If nothing goes down, he'll learn to in a big hurry I would suggest.

Its very refreshing to hear an NHL coach speak with such clarity and in such a straightforward manner. It would have been easy for Clouston to spout some platitudes about how the team can pull together, issues like these have been resolved in the past, etc. etc.

But instead he made the issue about putting the team first, and called out Heatley as not doing that. Either Clouston knows a Heatley trade is imminent or he's decided not to shy away from disparaging Heatley both privately and in the press.

If Heatley stays, this could get very interesting.

I almost think Clouston would prefer to have Heatley back to really do a number on him!

Makes you wonder if that isn't the case doesn't it?

Clouston is the boss of the players, he wants them to understand that as soon as possible. I like this a lot. Our coach has character, for the first time since Murray coached.

Obviously golf balls. Well, obvious to a smoker I guess.

If not for his demeanor (and the fact that we recognize both of them), you'd never know who was the coach and who was the player in that pic. Clouston looks like a little boy. Ironically, he's the first coach in a while to not act like one.
