I feel that the point is being missed here (sorry, I'm coming into this quite late). Even if the a$$hole had received permisssion; HE PASSED IT AS HIS OWN STUFF. That's the basic issue at work here my friends.

It would be nice if they learned and asked permission in future. We're all pretty chill here. DW would say no - and rightfully so - but most of us would say, yeah sure.

Hopefully there's something here for them to learn.

I think Fisher will get it but it wouldn't or shouldn't be a slap in the face to Spezza. Fisher has just been around longer then Spez has.

Fisher also has more alternate captaincy intangibles that he brings to the table.

I think it's something well-deserved for him.

I would liek to see Spezza get the A but I think Fisher will be donned with the A.

What will happen though is the sens will keep him and they and the nhl will force him to play his contract. He might sit out a while, but he'll be back ....

Something like the yashin situation a few years back, he had to play, just like dany will.

The positive idea here is that when they all gel, it could be something very, very nice ... :p
